Ogdensburg squad sees more calls in 2011
The Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to six percent more calls in 2011 than the year before, according to the emergency services provider’s 2011 annual report.

OGDENSBURG — On Sunday, while most people were cooking, baking and making other plans for the Super Bowl telecast that night, a group of men here was concentrating on less appetizing activities:
Pending the outcome of financing details, the former Hacketts Hardware store at 1223 Pickering St., Ogdensburg, may be the new home of the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad by next fall.
